Toronto – January 24, 2018 – B.J. McLeod Motorsports and Ryan Ellis are proud to announce that Densify will be the primary sponsor of the #78 Toyota Camry that will race at Daytona International Speedway in the NASCAR XFINITY Series opening race. This will mark the first race for Densify as a sponsor of a NASCAR vehicle, and their first race partnered with Ellis.
Densify is a cloud optimization company using machine-learning technology to analyze customer cloud usage patterns, and proactively recommends what changes they should make. Delivered as a full cloud optimization service based on SaaS technology, there is no software to install, maintain, or learn, and no need to hire additional staff.
“We are very excited to sponsor Ryan Ellis,” said Yama Habibzai, Chief Marketing Officer of Densify—“Densify is at a massive inflection point in the business, which has allowed us to partner with amazing events like NASCAR.”
Joe Lax will be the crew chief for the Densify #78 Toyota. Ellis and Lax worked together several times at Rick Ware Racing in 2016.
“I couldn't be happier to have Densify sponsor our racecar at the biggest race of the NASCAR XFINITY season,” said Ellis. “It’s been great getting to know their company over the last couple of months and I am already familiar with many of the people that work there. We're going to do our best to give them a great showing on the track and off and make sure that we can work together for a long time. I can’t thank everyone at Densify enough for giving us this opportunity. I'm really excited to race for B.J. McLeod Motorsports as well. They're an extremely competitive team and we're going to do everything we can to bring home a top-10 finish. I love working with Joe Lax and I know he's going to do a great job for us.”
Fans can catch Ryan and the Densify #78 Toyota on track in the PowerShares QQQ 300 on FS1 at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th.
