We are seeking an energetic, high performing Executive Account Manager who will be responsible for the ongoing management of Densify account relationships. Primary responsibilities include the introduction of Densify into a customer’s Cloud and Container Optimization program, promoting add-on modules, and obtaining subscription renewals. This is achieved by building strong multi-level customer relationships based on trust and value, understanding the customer’s business strategies, and successfully meeting individual customer needs, while working with the latest in cloud and container technologies. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, consultative solutions-oriented sales skills, strong technical aptitude, as well as strong organization skills.

What you will do in a typical day:

Managing Relationships (External)

  • Build and maintain executive relationships within customer accounts
  • Develop a trusted advisor role by understanding customer's overall business goals and needs
  • Develop Account Plans to drive expanded usage of the Densify product
  • Achieve revenue targets set for the targeted accounts
  • Achieve a high level of customer retention, customer satisfaction and reference-ability
  • Provide thought leadership to customers by leveraging industry best practices

Managing Relationships (Internal)

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Services, Engineering, Support) to aid in supporting customers
  • Share with management and across internal teams what is learnt from customers on how they are leveraging various relevant technologies, what is happening in their industry, ideas that can benefit other customers, etc.

Communications & Reporting

  • Organize and attend formal meetings and maintain ongoing communications with customers to develop a good understanding of their business needs
  • Provide product and capabilities demos/presentations
  • Coordinate and manage quarterly business reviews with customer executives
  • Invite customers to ongoing educational webinars hosted by Densify

Product Usage & Issue Resolution

  • Understand and resolve technology issues independently
  • Perform an ongoing needs analysis and promote Densify value to the customer
  • Consult with the customer to identify product and service solutions
  • Liaise with Densify product management to coordinate customer participation in Densify release opportunities

Revenue Growth

  • Pursue new revenue opportunities and create strategic and tactical plans to uncover expanded use cases for Densify within the customer’s organization
  • Work with the Densify Technical Account Management team and Solution Architects to develop and present unique proposals for integrations and customizations to further embed Densify into customer’s existing processes


  • Keep abreast of new cloud and container features and offerings by leading Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure
  • General awareness of publicly available information pertaining to Densify competitors, partners, and other complementary solutions
  • Retain technical currency and expand knowledge of the Densify solution and cloud/containers in general

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in an account leadership role within IT management consulting or software services industries/li>
  • A senior consulting & services background in the Public Cloud, Containers, or infrastructure space would be ideal with a focus on enhancing customer value/li>
  • Good understanding of technology, virtualisation/cloud eco-system and knowledge of Dev-ops, and/or infrastructure services management: a strong understanding of infrastructure processes (capacity, incident, change) is required/li>
  • Proven track record in customer relationship management, business development or sales: a strong understanding of the inner workings of large, complex IT organizations (interplay between architecture, engineering and operations) is required/li>
  • Ability to speak other European languages would be an advantage/li>
  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum

Nice to Haves

  • Masters or associate degree in Business in addition to Bachelor’s
  • AWS/GCP/Azure basic certifications

Personal Attributes

  • Demonstrated ability to understand a complex distributed software system with sufficient depth to troubleshoot highly technical, time sensitive issues
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and through documentation
  • Strong team player and enjoys working in a fast-paced team atmosphere
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects
  • Must be willing to travel
