The Opportunity

Densify is seeking an enthusiastic marketing leader to join our company in helping us change the way people run their cloud. Our Marketing Director will help our creative and fun marketing team take the lead in our space. Reporting into the CMO, this individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing all advertising and digital marketing campaigns and support an Account Based Marketing initiative, working closely with Sales. Some content creation will be required to fulfill these responsibilities. The individual will be the type of person who can roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds for running programs and using various tools to run those campaigns, but also be able to step back, understand, establish and communicate the overall strategy and report on the performance of those programs.

Please note this role is a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead and implement the roll-out of digital program tactics and initiatives
  • Ensure alignment with identified marketing strategies and excellence in execution for all programs and communications
  • Work with Sales Ops to segment target markets and plan appropriate outreach
  • Oversee the measurement and reporting on all marketing programs through to product trials, meetings, opportunities and deals to understand the full impact of marketing investments
  • Manage and maintain monthly and quarterly budget reconciliation and report back to CMO and finance
  • Owner and primary user of the marketing automation tool (Salesforce) and various other online tools and social media platforms
  • Own all social media strategy, tactics, execution, investments and reporting
  • Use tools such as LinkedIn, Google, Rainking, Zoominfo, Hoovers, and other databases to mine companies in our target market
  • Establish and develop user profiles and personas that we want to target, based on titles and companies available to us
  • Work with the rest of the Marketing team and Account Development Reps to run regular campaigns against lists
  • Regularly clean and manage tradeshow lists and new lists prior to uploading to our CRM system
  • Work closely with Customer Success Team to develop and manage customer marketing programs and public facing testimonials

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in B2B software marketing, preference given to SaaS experience
  • University or college degree in a related field
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Strong experience with social media marketing
  • Experience with account based marketing approaches
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Pardot
  • Experience managing a team of individual contributors
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Individual must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Makes suggestions for improving work processes
